4 Roundtrip Flights For Spring Break For Less Than $150

Spring Break is almost here, which means we will see hundreds of travelers in the Tampa Bay area. With Clearwater, St. Pete, and Tampa being popular spring break destinations, we understand that you might want to escape the madness. Luckily, Tampa International Airport announced 4 new spring break flights with Spirit Airlines to accommodate the surge in travel. These routes include Kansas City, Memphis, Nashville, and Milwaukee.

One thing to remember when booking discounted flights like this is what’s really included in your ticket. Keep in mind, you won’t be able to board early and you’ll probably have to pay extra for carry-on bags. You’ll also have to cough up extra for wi-fi on the plane. But these routes are relatively short, so as long as you download a movie or two before you take off, you should be fine.

Here are the cheapest Spring Break Routes We Found at Tampa International Airport

Keep in mind these prices may fluctuate after this is published. After searching on 2/15 at 11a, here are the cheapest spring break flights we’ve found.

Nashville

Not your typical spring break destination, but Nashville is always a party. We found a nonstop flight from TPA to BNA from 3/15-3/23 for only $86 roundtrip!

New Orleans

You’ll miss the Mardi Gras action, but it won’t matter because New Orleans is always a party. There’s so much to see and explore on Bourbon St, the French Quarter, and more. We found a roundtrip flight during the second week of March for less than $80.

New York

It’s not the warmest destination, but who would ever turn down a trip to the Big Apple? Especially if you can find a roundtrip flight during the second week of March for about $130.

Puerto Rico

This one you’ll want to book FAST. You can find a roundtrip flight to Puerto Rico for less than $150! Perfect way to spend your spring break!

Trendy, Cheap Spring Break Destinations

Spring break always arrives at just the right time. It’s when the holiday cheer has totally worn off, and it’s also right when spring is around the corner but it’s not quite here yet. I remember loving spring break in school. But, even if you’re not in school or college anymore, why not take a fun spring break trip this year? If you have a family, all the more reason to do it. If you’re solo, that works, too. Thankfully, there are plenty of trendy, cheap spring break destinations available.

If you want to get the most bang for your buck, as they say, stay close to home. It doesn’t have to be a staycation. But, why not travel to a town that you’ve never been to that’s within road trip distance? Of course, if you live in a cold climate, you might want to travel to a hot spot. The good news is that a lot of warm spring break destinations have great rates, because tourist is simply their business. So, if you go to a popular spring break spot, chances are they’ll have some good deals and be able to cut you a good deal due to just how many people who travel there each year.

The perfect spring break destination is really about getting away from it all. You want a place that fun and exciting. But, you also want a spot that really helps you break away from routine and, hopefully, your electronic devises. Another bonus is if you find a spring break destination near friends who you maybe haven’t seen in a while. It can be a really fun trip to find a central location and meet up with long-lost friends.

  • Atlantic City, New Jersey
