5 ‘Barbie’-Themed Events For Adults, Kids-And Even Pets-Around Tampa Bay
Will you go to the theater to see “Barbie” and will you take part in “Barbie”-themed events around Tampa Bay?
Armature Works hosted a huge Barbie Bash this weekend. It was a free event with photo ops, pool props, yard games and themed snacks! We didn’t get a chance to go, but it looked like a blast on social media!
The movie will be showing in theaters around Tampa Bay beginning on Friday, July 21. My kids are Barbie-obsessed, but I don’t know if this movie will be suitable for them to see. I’ve got to check it out first. But maybe we’ll check out some of these Barbie-themed events around Tampa Bay to get in on the fun. Here are some I have my eye on:
Barbie-Themed Events In Tampa Bay
- Check out a Barbie Beach Party at the Holiday Inn, 3528 Commercial Way in Spring Hill. It’s taking place on Monday, July 17 from 6:15 P.M. to 8:15 P.M. You can get a custom lip treatment.
- Paws and Pink: Barbie Foam Party at Dog Bar in St. Pete! Join this pup costume and pink foam party at St. Pete’s newest dog bar! It starts at 2 pm, click here for more info.

- Bad Barbie 18+ Roller Disco at Astro Skate Pinellas. A dazzling event designed exclusively for adults with disco & house music, and all-0ut Barbie-themed costumes. Get more info here.
- Mermaid-themed Barbie art show and performance. Head over to Coastal Creative, 2201 First Avenue Sout in St. Pete on Saturday, July 22 at 7 p.m. The cost is $10. Barbies AND Mermaids?! Little girls are two faves!
- Barby Kids Painting Party. Kids can get creative about Barbie at Joe’s Palette located at 1915 East Bay Drive in Largo. It’s happening on July 29 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the cost: $20-$25.

8 Fantastic Streaming Shows To Watch July 2023
Need something new to watch? We’ve got the shows to watch in July 2023 to help pass the time in the summer. Included in this list, are most of the major streaming services, some new shows, and some new seasons of older shows plus some you’ve never heard of.
The best shows list ain’t easy
It wasn’t an easy list to make because there are so many great shows out there to choose from but hopefully, I nailed this one. The important things I wanted to focus on were the diversity of both shows and streaming services.
In my humble opinion, there are really nine BIG streaming services that are creating shows and movies for consumers. Those are Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV+, Paramount+, Amazon Prime Video, Starz, Max (formerly HBOMax), Peacock, and Disney+. Which are the best? Well, Tom’s Guide has a list for you.

New shows to watch this summer
This is the really big Google entry along with shows to watch in July 2023. Do you start a new show or binge a couple of seasons of something that’s been around for a while? Let’s talk NEW SHOWS.
With so many streaming options, there are always new shows being created and coming out. One of my favorite things are limited series. This is a one-season-only engagement of a show. It’s basically a movie over eight episodes (or whatever it is).
