Find Out How You Can Make $1,500 From Spam Calls
We recently told you that Tampa is highly targeted in spam calls. Well now what if we told you that you could turn those pesky robocalls into cash in your pocket?! Sounds too good to be true, right? Well this Florida Man, Adam Ward, was able to make headlines for turning spam calls into a $20,000 payoff. It’s not as easy as it sounds, according to Ward it actually takes a little bit of diligence and online research.
According to WTSP, The Telephone Consumer Protection Act of 1991 (TCPA) allows penalties each time a company violates the National Do Not Call Registry. This protection act allows people to file lawsuits against telemarketers who make thousands of automated calls a day. In a matter of three seconds, 6,000 robocalls have been dialed nationwide. Just in Tampa alone, some people get up to 17 unwanted calls per week.
How To Turn Scam Calls Into Cash
This is where the homework comes in… First, you’ll need to invest in a $47 kit from robocalls.cash that includes samples of the demand letters you send to the companies calling you, letting them know that they are breaking the law. Then, you kind of have to play a song and dance with the telemarketers bombarding you. You’ll have to take the call, “act interested” and get information from them, and fill out template letters to send off. Believe it or not, these companies are more than willing to negotiate and settle rather than go to court.
This is part is important: You’ll also need to be registered on the national “Do Not Call” list. You can do that by going to donotcall.gov or by calling 888-382-1222. Now, if a company calls you after being put on the list, it’s $1,500 per call.
