Florida Man Lifts Overturned Jeep Off Of Child
You hear about stories like this now and then. A normal person seems to summon super-human strength for a short time, saving the day and rescuing another person who was almost certainly going to die. While in the throes of an unbelievably tense situation, someone does the impossible and saves the day. A version of that scenario seems to have happened over the weekend right here in the Sunshine State. A Florida man was driving through Flagler County when he came across a crash that had just occurred. Jumping from his vehicle, he approached the scene and saw an overturned Jeep surrounded by frantic bystanders. Someone screamed out that a small baby was still trapped under the vehicle. Wisguere Dormevil looked and saw a toddler sticking out from under the overturned car. Many of us would have lost it…right there and right then, but no Florida man. That’s when he attempted something heroic. He grabbed the Jeep and lifted as hard as he could. As another person gave the Jeep a final push upward, the baby was pulled from the wreckage and carried to safety. The young boy was immediately taken to a local hospital, along with the driver. The toddler received severe injuries and remains in the hospital. The driver also sustained injuries in the rollover. Source: Fox35Orlando.com
