Cops Follow Pizza Sauce to Catch Florida Man
It was a clue the police could not ignore. While gathering evidence in the case of a vehicle break-in, they noticed a bit of marinara sauce smeared on the driver’s side interior door handle.
What did it mean? Who leaves perfectly good marinara sauce on their fingers without licking it off? It was a question that would have to be answered, and quickly.
Meanwhile, another automobile was burglarized close by and a pizza box was found inside that car. Whoever had been stealing stuff from the cars was also eating a delectable pizza as they did so.

Some of the cards had already been used to fraudulently acquire merchandise. When interrogated about the evidence, the man admitted to the crime spree, saying “you caught me red handed”.
Smith was arrested and charged with armed burglary, burglary of a car, fraudulent use of a credit card, firearm theft, possession of a firearm by a felon and dealing in stolen property.
