Visit The Tampa Theatre
Are you looking for something to do to have the perfect night out with friends or a romantic night with your love?
We have just the spot for you… the Tampa Theatre, located in Downtown Tampa.
Make it a night out on the town by grabbing some dinner downtown and then heading to the Tampa Theatre. There’s quite some history to iconic building, built in 1926, it’s our country’s most elaborate movie palaces and is a special community landmark. The theatre shined during the roaring 20s with it’s popularity and continues to shine today.
It’s a view to see as inside it has a majestic vibe with lit twinkling lights inside that resemble a starry night filled sky in a Mediterranean courtyard adorned with old statues, flowers, and gargoyles.
The most amazing this is that when it opened, you could catch a movie possibly with popcorn for only 25 cents, of course times have changed from then to now, but not the beauty of the theatre.
Another thing to keep in mind is that it’s a great place for corporate events, conventions, pulling people together from the community, or just to catch a movie. The theatre does operate as a non-profit which we love that they’re giving back to the entertainment community.
If you live in the Tampa Bay area, you have to experience this place at least once. To get more information and to see what films they’re playing and when, visit tampatheatre.org.
The last detail that might push you to visit the Tampa Theatre is that it’s supposedly haunted, so why not visit it to see what you encounter.
