John Cena Apologizes to Chinese Audience After Calling Taiwan a Country

During an interview with a Taiwanese broadcaster, John Cena said, Taiwan is the first country to watch Fast and the Furious 9.
Beijing claims the self governing island of Taiwan as part of its territory.
Cena, who has been learning Mandarin for years, got on Weibo, the Chinese social network, to apologize to his 600,000 followers.
He posted a video in Mandarin apologizing.
Weibo users had mixed reaction about the apology.
China is the world’s second largest film market.
