Under one of the plans, if you do not help or call for help when someone is in distress, you could get charged with a crime.
Florida already has a Good Samaritan law. It encourages people to render aid by protecting them from lawsuits.
Lawmakers from both parties want to get more people to render aid in a crisis. The debate playing out in the legislature is over where to draw the line....
I’m glad they are going through with this BUT how will they monitor this law and MANY OTHER risks involved in helping or not helping people in need of assistance... I guess we will have to wait and see...
