Food Network Says Tampa Restaurant Has The Best Cuban Sandwich
The Food Network just named “The Best Sandwiches In America” and a Tampa restaurant made the list!
This list from The Food Network is new BUT this battle has been ongoing between Miami and Tampa for best Cuban Sandwich, this time TAMPA take home the honor.
The winner was.. Drum roll please… The Columbia Restaurant, obviously! It was the only sandwich in Florida out of the 50 that made the list, according to the Tampa Bay Times.
The #1 sandwich overall went to the famous pastrami on rye at Katz’s Deli in New York City. I’ve been and I can attest to it topping the list. If you were curious, the best Philly cheesesteak went to John’s Roast Pork. And if you go to Nashville, they say to try Hattie B’s Hot Chicken. I guess my next two trips are planned for me. Any one else plan their next vacation based on food?
