A Mixed Martial Arts Movie Featuring Jesus?
Who are we to say that Hollywood is running out of ideas. In a world of remakes and sequels, someone has stepped us to try an original idea. Imagine for one second, that Jesus was an MMA coach to an orphan in Ancient Jerusalem. Well, you won’t have to imagine for long because this is the plot of a movie coming out November 1st, 2024.
According to BroBible, “A new film titled ‘The Carpenter‘ is set in ancient Jerusalem and follows an orphan named Oren who discovers mixed martial arts as his ‘side hustle’ while apprenticing for Jesus Christ, the most famous carpenter in history.”
People didn’t think this movie was real after a trailer was released a few months back. But, it’s real and it’s happening. You can see even see the trailer for yourself.
It looks like a wild movie. I’m most impressed at the originality of the idea because that is exactly what we need right now. I personally haven’t been to the theaters in years but this right here, it might do it. Just for the sheer ridiculousness of what might take place. It isn’t supposed to be a comedy, but sometimes unintentionally, movies end up falling into that category because of the plot.
