Young Boy Super Excited About Keychain ‘Croc Ring’
A young boy is very excited about his keychain Croc Ring. Again, that’s Croc with an R–get your head out of the gutter.
Kids truly do say the darndest things. Sometimes it’s on accident and other times it’s on purpose. However, it’s a lot more funny when they accidentally say something funny. This appears to be one of those times. A mom shared a video on TikTok of her son being super excited about a new keychain with a mini Croc sandal attached to it. He likes to wear it on his finger as a ring and so it’s a “Croc Ring.” Which happens to sound a lot like another phrase that a kid should not be using nor should he know about.
Viral Video About A Boy And His ‘Croc Ring’
The video was shared by @ashleykeefer321 on TikTok and already has more than 128K likes and 1,355 comments. It’s hilarious listening to the mom try to hold back her laughter after he shows her his “Croc Ring.” She can barely hold it together but does a good job keeping that straight face. There’s such an innocent joy to his face talking about his beloved Croc Ring and he has no clue what could be so funny. I mean, it is exactly what he’s saying it is. It’s a Croc that was made into a ring…a Croc Ring. However, to those in the know, it sounds like he’s saying something much different and a lot more inappropriate.
Commenters are providing some entertaining feedback on TikTok, per usual. You can tell some are experienced moms who know what to do next like one commenter who said, “I would call the school and pre-explain including the video just to cover my bases.” You know he’s going to go to school and talk about his Croc Ring and it’s a good idea to stay a step ahead to avoid any distressed calls from the teacher. That is a great idea.
Another pointed out that it was probably intentional and the team at Crocs likely knew what they were doing saying, “Whoever suggested this at the board meeting for Crocs should get a raise.” Others were asking questions like why a Croc ring is even needed and who invented it? All great questions and quality points being made in the comments.
Has your kid ever said something like this that was totally innocent but could have a different meaning if heard by a stranger not in the know? I’m sure he’s not the first!
