Dave Contacted A Moroccan Manufacturer To Get A Big Light
Dave has talked about the new house he and his wife are building a few times on the show. He’s also mentioned how his wife Amber wants to get a bunch of new items for the place. There was one particular item that Dave was not willing to splurge on, so he took matters into his own hands.
The item is a really big light. Amber loves it and when Dave saw the price tag, he said there was no way they were going to buy it. So, he went on a investigation to find out where he could purchase the light for cheaper. Dedicated husband stuff right here.
Turns out, Dave discovered the light was manufactured in Morocco. He was able to get contact information for the manufacturer and spoke with someone about ordering the big light. Dave is now in contact with a man named Ahmed, who is making this big light for Dave. The sweetest part, the light he’s getting from the manufacturer is a quarter of what it would cost had he bought it from the store.
Andy says he only knows two people who have dealt with Morocco now. Dave and Indiana Jones. So we imagine Dave heading over to Morocco in search of this big light. Picture ‘Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark’. Dave steps off a plane, is taken into a Moroccan village by camel, meets with hookah smoking men, who reveal the big light he’s commissioned.
The light is supposed to be delivered soon, so luckily Dave won’t have to travel to Morocco in an Indiana Jones style adventure. We do hope he receives the light, and in one piece.
At one point in the Peep Show, a listener mentions that hopefully Dave doesn’t send the light to his neighbors in Florida accidentally.
