Woman Tries To Make It Up A Down Escalator At A Shane Gillis Show In Philadelphia
A woman is going viral for trying to make it up a down escalator at a Shane Gillis show in Philadelphia. The crowd was cheering her on!
Shane Gillis is one of the most successful comedians in the game right now. He’s everywhere! He has hit shows on streaming services, big stand-up specials, and is one of the best comedians touring currently. Hearing that a video at one of his shows is going viral is no surprise. He’s constantly going viral. However, this video is a bit different and it has nothing to do with Shane and his comedy. A woman tried to make it up a down escalator at his show!
Woman Tries Going Up A Down Escalator At Shane Gillis Show
It was a homecoming show for Shane Gillis at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. That usually means big things. Artists (whether stand-up or musicians, whatever) always go all-out for their hometown shows. It seems like the crowd was into it and were ready for a night of craziness. The wildest part of the night might not have even been on stage!
A woman named Amanda tried to make it all the way up a down escalator and she had an audience of people cheering her on as she attempted the feat. Now, that video is going viral online. You can see it for yourself below shared by ViralHog on YouTube.
Of course, this was in Philadelphia so the crowd at one point turned on her and started booing but for the most part they were really supportive. You can’t expect any more from the loudest fans in sports. Philly fans are famous for letting their teams and their own players know how they really feel. They say it can be one of the toughest environments to play in–even if you’re playing for their team. They can be ruthless! However, they seemed to be in good spirits here supporting Amanda. Until it turned to boos, at least.
She almost made it to the top! I think she gave up a little too early and definitely could have had it. That video now has more than 15,000 views on YouTube and is sure to continue to climb. That would be a fun thing to see at a comedy show! I feel like if it was at a rock concert or something they wouldn’t have made it up as far.
