Playing Milli Vanilli At A Funeral?
Lyle and Erik Menendez Played Milli Vanilli At A Funeral?
You might not be familiar with Netflix documentary ‘The Lyle and Eric Menendez Story’ or the music of Milli Vanilli. But, for the purposes of our story you don’t really need to know too much about either one. What you do need to know is playing the music of Milli Vanilli at your parent’s funeral is a very bizarre thing to do.
According to reports from Today, Milli Vanilli is experiencing a resurgence on the music charts after a Netflix documentary featured their music. The late 80’s R&B duo had a fall from grace after a lip-syncing scandal tarnished their career. Lyle and Eric Menedez were convicted of murdering their parents back in the late 80’s and currently have a Netflix documentary about them. They appear to be really big Milli Vanilli fans because in the report from Today, they played one of their songs at their parent’s funeral.
We were shocked to find out that not only did the brothers seem to be huge fans of the duo, but that they played on of their songs at their parent’s funeral. Chuck says that if someone has that much passion for Milli Vanilli, he would find them guilty for murder, no questions asked. Everyone agrees that it’s not only bizarre, but a little “American Psycho’y”.
After this news was shared, Chuck shoots Lisa a look of confusion. He says that he turned to the only person who could understand what was going on. Lisa has not seen the documentary so she wasn’t able to offer any reasoning behind it. The look was hilarious. Chuck stared at her seeking answers that she wasn’t able to provide. The news that these two men played a Milli Vanilli song at a funeral was mind-blowing.
