Man Sets World Record For Crushing Walnuts With His Elbow
If you weren’t familiar with the name Muhammad Rashid before, you will be now. He’s about to become a household name after setting the world record for crushing walnuts with his elbow. Okay, maybe not. But it’s still a cool record to hold.
According to NDTV, Rashid crushed more than 150 walnuts in 30 seconds to secure the record. The video of him accomplishing the impressive feat was shared on Instagram by Guinness World Records and quickly racked up more than 2.7 million views and is continuing to climb. According to GWR, he was able to crush 169 walnuts with his elbow in 30 seconds. That’s unbelievable! Think about how solid and hard they are. They can be tough to crack! That’s why we have special tools to do it for us and we don’t rely on our elbows.
However, he’s no stranger to holding Guinness World Records. NDTV reports that he also is the record hodler for the most walnuts crushed by the hand in one minute with 329. He reportedly set that record back in 2023 beating the previous record that he also set. Clearly, he has a thing for smashing walnuts. I’m sure he’s already been dubbed “The Nutcracker.”
Check out the record-setting performance below. He’s flying!

I have to be honest, I don’t see that record being broken any time soon. How does he do that? I imagine he must sit around and practice all day long. That’s the only way I can think of fine tuning such a unique skill like that. There’s no way he has any competition that he needs to worry about. At least not any that aren’t made of wood and brought out around Christmas.
