Man Suffers Severe Injuries After Elaborate Proposal Goes Wrong
A man in South Australia suffered severe injuries after his elaborate proposal went horribly wrong! Sometimes it’s best to just keep things simple.
It was supposed to be the romantic night of his life. Instead, it left him with severe injuries that will likely last a lifetime. Hopefully their love will too? Here’s more on this shocking story below.
Elaborate Proposal Goes Wrong Leaving Man With Lifelong Injuries
When an elaborate proposal goes wrong you never know what might happen! It’s like a Gender Reveal gone wrong with it accidentally starting a wild fire, or something. It’s more common than you’d think! This time, it left a man with very serious burns that will likely remind him of his mistake for a long time. I should clarify. The mistake was how he went about executing the elaborate proposal, not getting married like Chuck would say.
According to Yahoo! News, Adam Boots is from Clare Valley, Australia and was rushing to start a bonfire to set the scene for his proposal when he made the decision to use gas to help get the fire going. That’s when he reached into the flame to douse it when it exploded in his face. That resulted in a weeks-long stay in a hospital to treat his permanent injuries.
Yahoo! News reports the 28-year-old Boots suffered severe burns to his legs, arms, and face. He’ll now have reminders of this proposal for the rest of his life. Looking at before and after pictures you can really get a sense of the damage and what the explosion did to his body and appearance. He looks like a completely different guy now.
It’s now being used as a reminder to always be careful around fire pits and to be safe around an open flame. It’s a reminder to not use accelerants and always be cautious. He ended up proposing from his hospital bed, instead of what he had planned. Use this as a reminder to just keep your proposal simple. If she loves you, she’ll say yes. The Yahoo! News article didn’t mention if she said yes, but I truly hope she did after going through all of that.
