Andy Has An Idea For A Podcast All About Colonel Sanders
You may have heard us talk about the chaos that unfolded at the grand opening of a chicken restaurant in Michigan earlier this week. Well, there is more information coming out about what took place and the charges the suspects will face. Fox2Detroit shed more light on the situation and had an interview with the responding police department.
Chicken seems to do something to people. Many of our fast food freak-outs happen at chicken places. Chik-Fil-A parking lots are still packed to the brim and how can anyone forget the craziness of the Popeye’s Chicken Sandwich release.
Now, we have a hard time discussing any fried chicken without mentioning Colonel Sanders. I mean, one of the pillars of fried chicken without a shadow of a doubt. The problem is that we’ve talked about the history of KFC and Colonel Sanders many times but never remember any of the information.
So, as Lisa attempts to stop another KFC tangent, Andy has an idea for a new podcast. He’d call it, ‘The Colonel Cast’. A podcast devoted to the fried chicken giant, full of facts about KFC and the Colonel. The only problem is, there isn’t that much information about the guy. So, the podcast series would probably be a total of three episodes.
We decide that since we can never remember anything about him, the podcast could just relaunch every so often like it’s brand new information and run forever. Andy already has one subscriber in Dave, and that’s all it takes to get the ball rolling.
Dave suggests that Andy would have to dress-up like Colonel Sanders in order for the podcast to really be a hit. The tie, the goatee, the suit. We can picture it now.
