Louisiana Man Accused Of Locking Workers And Customers Inside A Starbucks
A Louisiana man has been accused of locking workers and customers inside a Starbucks! It looks like he did it using a bike lock.
If you’re going to be locked in anywhere, being stuck inside a Starbucks isn’t a bad choice. You have bathrooms, food, beverages, and WiFi. However, while it might be a good place to be stuck compared to other places, you don’t want to be stuck anywhere! Thankfully, they were able to leave through a different door. Always remember other door options.
Why Did Workers And Customers Get Locked Inside A Starbucks?
According to WDSU, a man has been arrested after being accused of locking workers and customers inside a Starbucks in Slidell, Louisiana. When police officers arrived to the scene, they reportedly found a bike lock holding the doors together.
The suspect has since been identified as 23-year-old James Thrash, who lives in Slidell. He was arrested and is now facing charges of terrorizing and false imprisonment. It’s believed that he put the bike lock on the door after he was reportedly asked to leave the coffeeshop.
You can check out his mugshot below, provided by the Slidell Police Department. He looks very confused. As if they just woke him up and informed him of his crimes.
Very interesting mugshot there. It would be scary when you realize you’re locked in the Starbucks. Who did this? Are they trying to get me to buy more coffee? I already spent $20!
Pumpkin Spice Latte Returns To Starbucks
Speaking of Starbucks, it’s that time of year! While it might seem too early to be celebrating fall (let’s enjoy the end of Summer, shall we?), we’re already seeing Halloween decorations out and the Pumpkin Spice Latte is already out! According to Axios, the popular Fall beverage came out on August 22nd even earlier than it came out last year. The PSL craze started 21 years ago when the drink first debuted on Starbucks’ menus in 2003. It’s since became a sensation that people eagerly anticipate and count down every year. Honestly, the hype is worth it. It’s delicious. Do we go over the top to celebrate Pumpkin Spice Lattes? Sure, but you can’t say they aren’t tasty.
We talked about SummerWeen the other day on Dave & Chuck The Freak. This year, it seems like celebrating Halloween and Fall even earlier than usual was a big trend. Decorations were spotted at stores in July and even my neighbors had their Halloween decorations up in their yard starting in early August. Thankfully, Halloween is one of my favorite holidays so I have no problem with it. Leave the decorations up all year long, like your Christmas lights, I don’t mind.
