85-Year-Old Florida Man Arrested For Vandalizing Neighbors’ Property With A Sharpie
An 85-year-old Florida Man has been arrested for vandalizing neighbors’ property with a sharpie. It’s a bit of a childish crime for an older man, no?
It might seem petty, but it can still get you arrested. It all happened in the Sandoval community in Cape Coral, Florida.
85-Year-Old Florida Man Arrested For Vandalizing Neighbors’ Property With A Sharpie
There are many ways to vandalize someone’s property. Carrie Underwood made a hit song about taking her keys to her ex-boyfriends car. That’s one way to do it. There was also that string of people vandalizing a town with fish at one point and we talked about that on Dave & Chuck The Freak. Now, there’s an elderly man vandalizing property with a Sharpie.
According to NBC 2, Charles Robison was arrested after police believe he was the man who used a black Sharpie marker to vandalize 4 people’s property in the area. NBC 2 reports that one of the victims claims Robison used a permanent marker to draw a line on the back of her pickup truck, believing it was because he was angry that the back of her pickup truck was hanging over the sidewalk. Ugh. It happens! Recently, I had a guy walk by my house and make a comment about my friend’s car blocking the sidewalk. They were just there for a minute dropping something off! People need to relax. That’s no reason to freak out or do something that will end up getting you arrested (or judged by your neighbors).
At 85, you’d think he’d have more to worry about than someone’s truck hanging over the sidewalk. Taking a Sharpie to the car is just petty. It’s hardly even a good burn. Some of his neighbors are even calling it overkill and unnecessary. It sounds like they even feel bad for him! However, not every neighbor is feeling that way. Others are now pressing charges to ensure he’s brought to justice for what he’s done to their property.
I think if Charles can just learn to relax a little he can enjoy his Golden Years. It sounds like he just needs a little shift in perspective. You can see more on this case, and Robison’s mugshot, in the video report below. Best hide all your Sharpie markers so nobody goes out to vandalize the neighborhood.
