Former TAO Hostess Accused Of Throwing Poop In Nightclub’s Koi Pond
A former TAO hostess has been accused of throwing poop in the nightclub’s koi pond in an act of revenge. Clearly, she took things way too far.
It’s safe to say her attempt at revenge was crap. Now, she’s in a lot of trouble for it. How disgruntled do you have to be to throw poop in your former workplace’s koi pond? Let’s learn more and find out.
Former TAO Hostess Accused Of Throwing Poop In Koi Pond
People will do crazy things to try to get revenge. Sometimes, they let their efforts get the best of them and it ends up getting them in trouble. That is not how you want your revenge to end. Well, that’s what seems to have happened to Ariel Roman.
According to The New York Post, the 24-year-old former TAO hostess has been charged with burglary (by entering an establishment she knew she was banned from and damaging property inside the restaurant) and criminal mischief in connection with the alleged poop toss. TAO is a popular nightclub and restaurant in New York City famous for its long lines.
The New York Post reports that Roman was due in court for a separate harassment incident stemming from interactions with a TAO-affiliated promoter. She previously pleaded not guilty to those charges. Additionally, The New York Post reports Roman was also charged with assault in another incident after allegedly throwing a bottle at someone at the Hearsay nightclub.
Why Did A Former TAO Hostess Throw Poop In A Koi Pond?
According to The New York Post, TAO describes Roman as “unhinged and violent” and is an ex-employee on a rampage of “harassing and threatening behavior.” However, she claims that they’re all out to get her because she’s a whistleblower trying to bring attention to alleged sexual assault incidents at the nightclub. She’s claiming she threw the poop in an attempt to bring attention to these issues.
The former TAO hostess tells The New York Post, “That’s my desperation. That’s what led me to do something to get on the news with the TAO [poop throw] thing. I’m desperate because nobody’s taking accountability.”
The issues with Roman and TAO can be traced back to 2022 when Roman broke up with her boyfriend who was a TAO promoter, per The New York Post. It seems like quite the messy break up which led to her missing work and being subsequently fired. That’s around the time when she started really airing out the alleged dirty laundry. The New York Post reports that her ex filed an order of protection and received a threat that he was going to be set on fire from a burner phone. Roman maintains her innocence.
This sounds like more than your ordinary crazy ex-girlfriend story or behavior from a disgruntled ex-employee. From the sounds of things, she could use some help. Hopefully she finds all the help she needs. No word on what happened to the fish in the koi pond. I hope they are okay, too!
