Alice Cooper Launches 2024 ‘Presidential Campaign’
Alice Cooper has finally thrown his hat (and guillotine) into the 2024 presidential race.
The Godfather of Shock Rock launched his tongue-in-cheek “campaign” via social media with the 15-second clip below. He narrates the short video saying, “Well, I’m Alice Cooper, and I’m a troubled man for troubled times. I have absolutely no idea what to do, so I should fit right in.”
The video instructs fans to go to AliceForPresident.com, who are greeted with a message to “Join The Campaign!” (aka: sign up for an email blast). The message also states, “Stay in the loop with our presidential campaign! Sign up now to receive updates on our campaign kick-off, ongoing virtual rallies, and Q&A sessions. Be the first to hear about our latest news and events. Stay Informed, Join the Conversation, Be Part of the Movement. Sign Up Now and be a part of our journey!”
No political campaign — fictional or not — is complete without some cool merch, and as expected, Cooper doesn’t disappoint. Available are a selection of four campaign t-shirts, a bumper sticker, a campaign button, a guillotine pin, a commemorative coin and, of course, a campaign poster featuring the phrase “Make America Sick Again.“
Alice’s campaign website also features a “Campaign Trail” link, which takes fans to his page featuring all upcoming tour dates. Currently, Cooper is on tour in Europe, but he’ll be returning to North America on July 30. His list of upcoming North American tour dates is below.
