The future is now! A man in Las Vegas was arrested after attempting to rob a bank. The interesting part of the story is that he wrote his demand note for the tellers on an iPad and showed that to them!
The Details
The accused is 53-year-old Donald Malone. According to reports from 8NewsNow, Malone showed tellers at a bank in Las Vegas an iPad that had a prewritten note on it. Then, the next day the accused showed to a different bank and pulled the same move, showing tellers a different prewritten message on an iPad in an attempt to get money. He was handed $1,000 in this robbery according to 8NewsNow.
What’s Next

THE FUTURE!
As we stated before, the future is now. Is this the next step in bank robbery evolution? We always talk about new technology and fear of robots but how long will it be before a robot is sent in to rob a bank to rob it. Or, are the tellers going to be robots, armed to the teeth, ready to defend against bank robbers. Probably both are extremely farfetched ideas but the robot bank robber isn’t the worst idea for a movie.
We’ll keep you updated on what happens with Donald Malone and if he faces any jail time. Or, if there are any other technological advances made in crime, you know we will get them to you!
