Man Buying Boneless Buffalo Wings On Facebook Marketplace Gets Burned
Don’t buy your boneless buffalo wings on Facebook Marketplace. Facebook Marketplace seems like a strange place to buy food–but people are doing it!
One man learned that the hard way. He ended up paying $15 for cheap dinosaur nuggets! See more on how this played out below.
Don’t Buy Boneless Buffalo Wings On Facebook Marketplace
Facebook Marketplace seemingly has it all. You can get furniture, kitchen ware, clothes, and evidently even food on the app! It’s very handy for getting inexpensive used goods for your home. It basically puts a thrift shop right in your fingertips! Of course, some risks come along with that. The product you buy might be more damaged than it looked in the picture, it could malfunction, they could not show up, or your $15 chicken nuggets could end up just being dinosaur nuggies.
The guy who got burned goes by FLEA (@babyibeenajoint) on X (formerly Twitter). FLEA took to X saying, “Don’t buy anything from this guy. He was selling boneless wings and a drink. And this is what I got. Charged me $15 up front. I tried getting a refund and he blocked me and said ‘Take me to Judge Judy.’ I just wanted wings.” Attached in the post was a picture of the boneless buffalo nuggets which you can see are clearly just dino nugs. Those are some of the cheapest nuggets on the market, so this guy clearly got punked.
Unfortunately, that’s the risk you run when you decide to buy food from Facebook Marketplace. I’m not sure if there are any rules or regulations with buying and selling food on Facebook Marketplace. Sure, it could be great and homemade or it could end up being messed with or tainted. Could you ever know? See more on this story from a Reddit post where it was shared below.
