Look we all are looking for that perfect slice but with all places in town, it may be hard to find the right place. I’ve been around for quite a bit have hunted down what could honestly be the best places to get a slice.
Paul's Chicago Pizza
I’m starting this list off with the supreme mac daddy of all pizza joints in the Bay area. Pauls Chicago Pizza. Its the best pie in town and if you don’t believe me go check it out for yourself tell Paul, Zito sent you and he will probably charge you double. Try that Classic. I order the House with no olives. Plus, with the coldest beers in town, you’ll see why this is my go to spot.
Five Star Pizza
Any place that rates itself is not usually one of the places I go, but this place changed my mind on that. The pies are as good as they look, and you will be drooling as soon as you walk in. The smells are everything you expect in a Pizza kitchen. Not only the service is outstanding. Never have I been in without the best service. Try the”Everything Pizza.” It has got us coming back whenever we are in the area.
Bavaro's Pizza
A little slice of Italy right off the water, what more could you ask. This woodfired pizza is so classy it’s ok if you eat it with a fork and knife. Hand-tossed and cooked to perfection in a brick oven with the freshest ingredients, it will have you coming back again and again for a taste that makes you dream of eating it right from Italy.

Slice of the Burg
Everyone needs a quickie for lunch, and this place is one of my top choices. Go in, grab a quick slice, and drink. Not in the mood to stay for long or just need to make your next office party huge call Slice of the Berg. Their large pizza is enough to feed a family of 4 for two days. Create your own or just have something done before it’s worth stopping into enjoying the taste of one of the Bay’s top pizza joints. Try the Supreme; it’s got everything. Literally!
Gourmet Pizza Company
I can not get enough of this place whenever I am in Hyde Park. It’s the healthiest pizza I have ever had, and I know that sounds weird. The best part of this taste is it is all local. Local vegetables and local meats are all from stores nearby, and you can really taste Tampa. Don’t let the title make you think it’s something you have to make a table reservation. Come on in and bring your friends it is going to be a good time.
Fabrica Pizza
Personal Pizzas for those who don’t like to share. Then look no further Fabrica Pizza is the place to go. Build your own 12″ from the ground up and be prepared to have a mouthwateringly good time. Freshest Vegetables and the finest meats you can imagine why this is a must-stop if you want to grab one of the best pies in town.
Due Amci
Probably the best Meat Lovers Pizza in the entire Bay. It is a really delicious pizza with even the most Chicago Loving goober throwing their deep-dish away. Come in, and you can just grab a single slice or be cool and walk away with a whole pie. If you love the sauce as I do, grab a jar to take home and make your own pizza with it.
4th Street Pizza
There are plenty of whole in-the-wall pizzas but are they as good as 4th Street Pizza? Probably not. Driving by the first time, you may not notice them, but once you order from them, you are going to be calling them for every birthday party you will ever throw. The Pies are enormous, and they are so delectable you will be fighting for the last slice in every box.
Cappys Pizzeria
Radio has got me going everywhere, and my last time in Riverview, I was looking for something that reminded me of New York-style of pizza without paying a New York Price. This was it. But dragging along Ted Kamikaze and Sean Roberts, they wanted a deep dish. This place had it both. Now with two styles of pizza, somethings got to go bad. Not here everything was cooked to perfection, just the way we found the taste we loved from our favorite style. The cheese was so thick and juicy I almost forgot I had gotten a Supreme. I recommend it.
Joey Brooklyn's Pizza
How many nights have I been partying in downtown Saint Pete and right as the bars are shutting down, I could use a bite to eat before I turn in. Well, I make this place a must-stop for that authentic, and I mean authentic New York Pizza. The best sober or drunk pizza will make you want to drag even the most rowdiest friends here when you need to continue the party. So grab a slice or a whole pie you have to go, and it’s close to some of the biggest bars in Downtown.
