It’s time to plan those trips for 2024, and Walt Disney World is stepping up with a new Florida resident deal. How good a deal is it? The “international house of the mouse” may have improved the deal over 2023’s offer.

Here’s what Disney’s latest offer for the ‘locals’ has to benefit Florida residents:

The 2024 Florida resident deal seems to be improved over the 2023 deal. First off, the price.

Here’s an example of the regular ticket prices: A one-day Florida resident ticket, depending on the park and the date, is as low as $116.09 (including tax). The special Florida resident deal begins with a 2-day ticket for $199 (plus tax). For those math wizards, it’s essentially $100 for each one-park visit.

If you want to add another day, a 3-day ticket is only $219 (plus tax). That brings down the price to about $70 per day. Unlike the early ticket deal from 2023, these tickets are a little more expensive, but these tickets are also good on weekends.

Additional options for the tickets:

The tickets are valid beginning January 11 and are good through March 15, 2024. You still need to make a park reservation to use these tickets. Proof of Florida residency is required. Other features, such as the Park Hopper option and the Water Park and Sports Option can also be added to each ticket.

There is a festival at Walt Disney World’s EPCOT during this time. The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, which runs from January 12 to February 19, 2024. There are art exhibits of all sorts and special food offerings. Also, there’s the Disney on Broadway music series at the America Gardens Theatre. It’s a musical celebration with songs from Disney’s Broadway productions such as “Frozen,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “The Little Mermaid,” “Mary Poppins,” “The Lion King” and “Tarzan.”
