3 New Tampa Bay Restaurants To Look Forward To
Let’s be honest, we all need a bit of good news these days. And what’s better than new foodie spots to check out in the Tampa Bay area? A lot of great places have opened up this year. We’ll take a look at some spots that you need to check out and more that are soon to open!
It’s no secret that Tampa Bay has a booming food scene. Even though we’ve lost a lot of iconic restaurants this year like Ciro’s, The Soup and Stone Company, Crisp and Green, and more, we get to look forward to new restaurants that will hopefully become staples in the community.
Tampa Bay’s Hottest New Restaurants
If you’re looking for a new pizza spot, I have a great recommendation for you. Spaccola Napoli Italian Restaurant just opened up a couple months ago in Carollwood and it did not disappoint! The authentic Italian brick oven and open kitchen makes your dinner become a show. Their dough is prepped 48 hours in advance, which makes the crust soft with airy pockets. We hope Dave Portnoy adds this to his list next time he’s in town. Check them out at 12913 N Dale Mabry Hwy.
Another new spot that I recently got to check out is Minano Ramen located in Citrus Park. This place was so cute and the food was the star of the show. I tried their boa buns, spicy ramen, and frozen mochi. The only thing I didn’t save room for was boba tea, so I’ll definitely be back!
New Restaurants To Look Forward To This Fall and Early 2025
With so many new spots opening up around Tampa Bay, it can be hard to keep up. So here are 3 new restaurants set to open this fall.
The Highland House
A new upscale eatery in Dunedin is set to open this Fall as part of the historic club’s multi-million dollar renovation. Renderings of the new space look like a very modern-retro vibe with luscious green walls. The Highland House will also be a spot to host events like weddings, work gatherings, and other celebrations.
Slim Charmer
From the folks that brought us Wild Child (one of the best cocktail bars in St. Pete) comes a new concept, Slim Charmer. This 800 sq ft space will seat about 26 people inside and a few tables outside. Since the new spot is so secluded, head chef Scott Grimm expects to change the menu weekly. According to the Tampa Bay Times, it will feature classic cocktails (they’ve already designed a strong martini for the menu), a short wine list, a selection of small plates and a raw bar. They’ve tried to set for a late October opening, but Hurricane Helene and Milton had other plans.
Perry’s Porch
A new coffee bar/cafe is coming to the St. Pete Pier. Perry’s Porch will offer quick lunches, coffee, and cocktails with gorgeous waterfront views of Downtown St. Pete.
St. Pete Rising says that the name Perry’s Porch is inspired by “Perry Snell, an early 1900s developer who envisioned a beautiful, walkable, park-filled waterfront for St. Pete.” They were expecting to open in 2024, but we have a feeling the hurricanes also disrupted those plans as well.
