2024 McDonald’s Remodel Hits Tampa Bay Restaurants
I am usually not a fan of the new remodels at fast food chains, but McDonald’s just did it right. This Tampa Bay McDonald’s remodel just gave the restaurant chain a nice upgrade.
There’s no doubt about it, time always brings change. Fast food chains are no strangers to this concept.
Back in the 2010s, fast food restaurants opted for a dull, gray decor that made every fast food mogul indistinguishable from the others. Now, it looks like McDonald’s is looking to break free of the bland decor and bring life back to the fast food chain with the newest McDonald’s remodel.
McDonald’s Remodel In 2024: New Ordering Area
It all started when I got the craving for some of those classic Golden Arch crispy fries. I hopped on the road and went to my nearest McDonald’s at 3470 Ulmerton Rd.
We’ll start with the cashier’s ordering area. They cleaned up the front area to make way for more seating throughout the dining room. They added a wall between the dining room and the kitchen to separate customers from the backend.
The new baby blue and wood-paneled wall adds life back to the restaurant that we haven’t seen since the early 2000s. The ordering kiosks are no longer crammed next to the booths which allows plenty of room to order.
McDonald’s Remodel In 2024: Inside Seating
When the 2010s McDonald’s remodels hit stores, I wasn’t a huge fan. But, the new inside seating area with this McDonald’s remodel is an upgrade. It may not have the big booths of the ’90s, but the new tables, seats, and open space make for a much better dining experience than the previous remodel.
The half booths offer comfortable wooden chairs and cushion seating. The larger dining tables feature circular stool-like seats with a table big enough for six people. They also added high dining counter-style seating which makes for a solid view during the sunset.
Will we start seeing McDonald’s remodel more restaurants across Florida?
