‘Severely Inebriated’ Florida Woman Found Standing In Drive-Thru With Toddler

A woman found standing in the middle of a drive-thru with a toddler is facing child neglect and possession charges, according to an arrest report.
The report says Melanie Hancox, 35, was "severely inebriated" when she was found 'unmoving' in the drive-thru of the McDonalds on US-19 just before midnight.
Hancox was standing in the drive-thru with a 3-year-old child as vehicles drove around them, the report says. She was arrested and found to be in possession of methadone hydrochloride and alprazolam pills, according to the report.
