Geno / BBGII don't get over to Daytona often, but when I was there for a concert, I had to check out the famous Buc-ee's Beaver Nuggets. I'd heard all about the Beaver Nuggets, beef jerky, fudge and other Buc-ee's goodies everyone raves about.
Buc-ee's is like an enormous Walmart. To call it just a gas station is really wrong. It's more like a Walmart with a lot of gas pumps... over 100! And Buc-ee's has lots of stuff to ruin what's left of your New Year's resolution. Here were the things that caught my attention during my first visit at their Daytona location.
Beaver Nuggets
OK I get the Beaver Nuggets thing now. I have a sweet tooth so I get the hype.
Jackpot!
This was my favorite purchase. I like the regular Beaver Nuggets that are sweet. But these were phenomenal.
FRIED Apple Pies
I'm always down for fried apple pie. It's the biggest menu item I miss at McDonald's. Whenever I get to visit a country where they still serve them like England, it's a must.
Not just sweets...
The brisket was decent but honestly not outstanding. I don't think I'd order it a second time.
Fresh chips?
These were OK but not really memorable. I'd pass on these too.
Didnt try the fudge but it looked good.
