The Tampa Bay Lightning and the Lightning Foundation will hold the 20th annual Bolt Run, presented by AdventHealth, virtually this year from February 1st through 28th. Participants can begin registering now at TampaBayLightning.com/BoltRunRegistration. A portion of each registration will be donated to Academy Prep Center of Tampa via the Lightning Foundation.
This year’s Bolt Run Virtual Edition allows runners to choose their own race day experience by running, walking or biking at any time during February. Participants can upload their race day stats to the virtual results page, and can share their photos, music and race routes using #BoltRun as they run with the Distant Thunder.
Participants who sign up will receive a downloadable race bib, Stanley Cup finisher’s medal and a community-inspired race t-shirt at the conclusion of the event. The first 400 athletes to register for this year’s virtual Bolt Run will receive a free foam roller, courtesy of AdventHealth.
