Charlie and Blackberry Smoke will be in town a couple days early next week. First, they’ll be taking pictures and signing autographs at Rock City Music in Livonia on Monday starting at 7pm. Then they’ll take to the stage at Meadowbrook Tuesday night as part of the Wheels Of Soul tour.

Charlie talks about the current tour and one they’re doing in the Fall. He tells me about working with Zack Brown a few years back, their BBS stock car, European tour and a metal band he calls “relentless”. Plus, he tells me about the struggles of being in a band, writing songs for the upcoming album and more.
