A Cincinnati Reds fan gave Matt McLain a slap on the butt after catching a foul ball! Makes you feel like a member of the team.

The fan was quick with the slap after the 2nd baseman caught the foul ball. It looked incredibly natural like he was a part of the team congratulating his teammate on making the catch. Now, the moment is going viral on social media. Check out the Reddit video that's going viral below.

Commenters were quick to point out that the players didn't even seem to mind. That's rare! You'd think if a random person slapped your butt you'd probably freak out! If it happened in any other sport it probably would have gone a different way, but it's just a part of baseball, I guess. Just another one of the many traditions.

The viral moment happened during a game between the Cincinnati Reds and New York Yankees. It happened in the 4th inning of the game. The Reds would go on to win 6-1 so maybe the butt slap was good luck. The fan might be invited back! Baseball is crazy for its superstitions.

When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office.
