Amazon is now working on technology to have your packages delivered by humanoid robots. They're saying it could be ready for testing in the real-world soon. However, you shouldn't hold your breath if you're waiting or expecting this to happen soon. Check out a picture of what they look like here. The Verge reports that "Amazon is developing AI software that will enable robots to operate as package delivery workers that are ferried around in Rivian electric vans." Sounds like Amazon is almost finished constructing an indoor humanoid park where they can train.
Robots are nothing new to Amazon. They've already been using them in warehouse operations. Could they start using them to deliver packages? It seems like that's the plan eventually but it's likely far from becoming a reality. Read more about it from The Verge here.
