How To Get Paid To Watch 25 Christmas Movies In 25 Days
CableTV.com is partnering with DIRECTV to host its third Holiday Dream Job event which is open to anyone who loves Christmas movies. Does this sound like you? It could end up being the opportunity of a lifetime!
According to Mental Floss, CableTV.com will select one candidate who applies to become the Chief Of Cheer and they will be tasked with watching 25 holiday movies of their choosing in 25 days. A cool perk is that they don’t even have to buy the movies they pick! CableTV.com will supply the streaming subscriptions! Then, after the marathon the Chief Of Cheer will write reviews of the movies and the streaming services. At the end, they’ll have to pick the best platform. However, that’s not all. We did mention they get paid to do this, right? According to Mental Floss, they will be paid $2,500 and will receive a blanket from Minky Couture! That means you’ll be oh so comfy while watching the movies. Additionally, they’ll receive a year’s worth of ad-free streaming services including DIRECTV STREAM, Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Prime Video, Max, Apple TV+, and Hallmark+. Seriously, think about it. That really adds up! A year’s worth of all of those services is not cheap and not having to pay for them is incredibly valuable and will save you a lot of money (not to mention will keep you endlessly entertained).
You can visit the Holiday Dream Job page here. Applicants must be 18+ and legal residents in the United States. The deadline is today so act fast! Then, the winner will be announced on December 5th! Does this sound like something you’d like? Do you know what 25 movies you’d pick? That’s a lot of movies and I’m not sure if I would end up going with 25 of my favorites or a mix of my favorites and ones I haven’t seen yet. This has my mind racing so I now have to list out the 25 movies I would pick below. How does the list look?

As you can tell, I prefer a comedy Christmas movie. I left Die Hard off because I didn’t want to start a debate or start any drama. What movies would you pick?
