Pittsburgh Man Arrested Attempting To Break Into Jail
We talk about lots of crimes and criminal stories on Dave & Chuck The Freak. However, this is one of the most mind-boggling stories we’ve shared recently. What was he thinking? Trying to break into jail cannot be the best decision.
According to WPXI, a man caused extensive damage to a door at the Allegheny County Jail while attempting to break into the building over the weekend. The Allegheny County Police Department were notified of an attempted break-in to the visitors’ lobby of the jail in the early hours of Saturday morning. When they arrived, they found a man with a minor injury. That man has since been identified as 34-year-old Charles Felder.
It sounds like Felder hurt himself during the break-in attempt when he was trying various means to enter the jail. Doors can be dangerous! According to WPXI, Felder was seen on surveillance cameras trying to use garbage cans as battering rams and tried kicking the door multiple times. Additionally, he yanked the door handle off and continued trying to break-in for 3 hours before finally passing out, per WPXI.
Unfortunately, the problems didn’t stop there. Felder reportedly spat on one of the first responder’s faces when they tried to put him into an ambulance, per WPXI. He was taken to the hospital to treat his minor injuries. He’s now facing harassment and burglary-related charges. Not the smartest criminal we’ve talked about on Dave & Chuck The Freak, that’s for sure.
