Cincinnati Reds Crack Down On Security After TikToker Accesses Suites
The Cincinnati Reds are now cracking down on security after a TikToker went viral for accessing suites in a video that’s since gone viral. Now, they’re red in embarrassment.
In a way, Cincinnati is famous for its pranks dating back to the famous Turkey Drop incident in the TV show WKRP in Cincinnati. While that was fictional and part of a television show, this prank is all-too-real. It was all documented and is now circulating the internet. That’s creating some problems for the organization and now they’re having to crack down on security.
Cincinnati Reds Crack Down on Security After TikToker Accesses Suites
These days, you always have to be on alert of someone trying to go viral and making you look bad in the process. People will try anything it seems like for a dose of internet fame. There’s even an “influencer” who spreads her own poop on her face claiming it helps with anti-aging. Sure, Jan. Whatever you say. Now, this prankster was able to pull off some impressive feats and made it look incredibly easy. That’s not a good look for the Reds. Can anybody pull this off and access a suite without having to pay for one? He shows you how he pulled it off.
According to WLWT, the viral TikTok video is now causing officials at Great American Ballpark to adjust their security procedures after games. The popular video was shared by @Gfedgocrazy on TikTok and he’s no stranger to stunts like this. It appears that seeing how long he can stay at different games and events is sort of his thing.
The viral video starts with him participating in the common Run The Bases Day that teams will host allowing fans down onto the field to run the bases at the Major League stadium. Then, he sought to get to the riverboat at the stadium. Finally, he accesses some suites before leaving the stadium. He executes it flawlessly. However, it’s not all good because he might have ruined the fun for everybody. After this has gone viral, the Reds released a statement saying, “The Cincinnati Reds are committed to ensuring the safety an security of all attendees. Following an incident where a fan gained unauthorized access to areas at Great American Ball Park after a game, we reviewed and adjusted our security procedures to prevent similar incidents from happening,” via WLWT.
Hopefully he didn’t spoil fun events like Run The Bases Day for everybody during the viral prank. You don’t want one internet prankster ruining the fun for everyone. It seems like he enjoyed the stadium and had nice things to say about it, though. Check out the viral video below.
