Why was an irate passenger arrested at LAX? It's the latest strange story out of an airport that led to handcuffs.

Recently, we've talked about several airport arrests on Dave & Chuck The Freak. There have been people trying to smuggle drugs, naked strolls through the airport, stolen vehicles, and more! Now, we have another interesting situation at an airport that led to an arrest. Why was this irate passenger arrested at LAX? Find out below!

I feel like when you're heading to the airport, you know some frustrations are in your future. Maybe you'll have to deal with a delay or cancelation. Perhaps you'll have to interact with a rude employee or passenger. These types of things are pretty common when traveling out of an airport. However, how you choose to handle these inconveniences can vary. You can either let it bounce off you or you can let it get the best of you, and have it end in your arrest.

According to The Los Angeles Times, a passenger was arrested on Saturday, July 6th after he reportedly became irate and ran out of Terminal 4 and onto the tarmac! Yeah, you can't do that! Not only is it definitely against the rules, but it's incredibly dangerous! There are planes coming and going and other buses and stuff that aren't expecting you to pop up out of nowhere.

Captain Karla Rodriguez tell The Los Angeles Times, "Police responded and during their attempt in taking the suspect into custody, a use of force occurred." The unidentified man was arrested on suspicious of battery against a police officer and trespassing on airport property. Afterwards, he was taken to a nearby hospital for a mental health evaluation, per The Los Angeles Times. It does appear that the man was experiencing some sort of mental health crisis.

In video captured at the scene, you can see a shirtless man in black shorts running on the tarmac with a police officer right behind him in pursuit. Eventually, you can see the police officer catch up to the suspect and take him to the ground. It doesn't appear that either were injured during the chase.
