Meet Laura Sevostjanov... Apparently, she's hell on wheels on a date! She's also provided us with Florida's most recent hottest mugshot! Do you agree?
Laura Sevostjanov was arrested on Tuesday, May 7, while speed dating. This wasn't the "speed dating" that most people know. No, she was caught racing like a stuntwoman in a "Fast and Furious" film.
According to reports, Laura and her date were arrested in Clearwater for allegedly racing on city streets. The two had left a bar, turned off Druid Road and headed south on Missouri Avenue. The 25-year-old Laura and her date, Christopher Cahill, 23, were pulled over near Belleair Road by Clearwater police officers. She was allegedly clocked at over 60 miles per hour in a 40 miles per hour zone.

She may have gotten off easy. Her date, Cahill, was charged with: Felonious possession of ammunition, carrying a concealed firearm, felonious possession of firearm, grand theft firearm, driving under the influence, racing on a highway, and possession of marijuana. He remained in jail with a total bond of $211,500.
Now, back to the important subject. Laura Sevostjanov is getting attention as the newest hottest mugshot in Florida. What do you think?
In Florida, there's a new law on the books regarding street racing. The newly-signed law increases fines, jail time, and can take away offenders' driver licenses. The fine was doubled to $2,000 for a first-time offender, along with a one-year loss of license. Charges can include fines of up to $4,000 as a third-degree felony, along with a 2-year loss of license for a second offense within a year.
I moved to St. Petersburg in 2019 and I must say, living in the Sunshine State has been fun! I have never gotten in trouble with the law but many of my friends have. The warm weather seems to have an impact on people and it's not always good! Every day there is a "Florida Man/Woman" headline in the news. Many of the stories are funny but sadly always involve crimes being committed.
