ALDI will lower its prices this summer due to inflation on hundreds of items to give its customers relief.
It is no secret that the economy throughout the country is going from bad to worse, everything is becoming more and more expensive. Gasoline, clothes, but definitely where the shock is felt much more when you are about to pay is when we go to the supermarket. How painful!

But apparently this unpleasant surprise when we are told the total at the supermarket checkout will not happen in ALDI stores . Since ALDI will lower its prices due to inflation, there will in fact be hundreds of items at the reduced price.
Do You Like Shopping At Aldi?
Personally, I have gone shopping at ALDI at least 2 or 3 times in my life, it is probably because I am used to going to other supermarkets and I already know where things are. You know, when you get used to something, it's more comfortable that way.
However, now that ALDI is lowering their prices this Summer I'm definitely going to try to go check it out. Although, at ALDI you have to bring your own bags and you also have to pay to use the shopping cart.

Everyone has a preferred grocery store. In the Tampa Bay area, people likely do most of their grocery shopping at Publix. But if you want to really save some cash on snacks and meals, a lot of people turn to Aldi. I would have never thought to review a grocery store, but that's what the internet is for! So we took those reviews and ranked the best Tampa Bay Aldi locations. Here's what we found.
There are 210 branded ALDI grocery stores in Florida and about 15+ Aldi locations around the Tampa Bay area. For this article, we'll be sticking to the 5 stores in Tampa and a few surrounding areas like Clearwater, St. Pete, and Largo. We may be seeing even more Tampa Bay Aldi locations pop up. Earlier this month, Aldi completed its acquisition of Southern Grocers Inc., the parent company of Winn-Dixie supermarkets.
In a report from Fox 35 Orlando, Aldi plans to convert a large number of Winn-Dixie stores to the Aldi format. However, there will be a "meaningful amount" of Winn-Dixie locations that will operate as is. We don't know which locations will be converted yet, but once the information is released, you can expect an update on this post. Aldi will start their "phased approach" to the store conversion process for about 50 stores in the Southeastern states later this year.
In a press release from Aldi, CEO Jason Hart said "With this commitment to add 800 stores in the next five years, we'll be where our shoppers need us while positively impacting the communities we serve." These new and remodeled stores will feature sustainable additions, like energy-efficient LED lighting, environmentally friendly refrigeration systems, rooftop solar systems, and more.
Methodology For Ranking The Best Tampa Bay Aldi Locations
First, we confirmed the Tampa Bay locations on Aldi's website. Then, we went to Google reviews to see how many that store had and what people were saying. If you usually go to the Aldi off Hillsborough, then you're not going to go out of your way to University Plaza just because of a couple of opinions. But if there is one in your area with a higher ranking, then you can try it out!
ALDI 14933 N. Florida Ave
Rating: 4.5
Number of reviews: 2,539
What people are saying: Great location even though there is another location super close to this one. One person mentioned the store can sometimes be understaffed so occasionally the shelves can be a bit of dis array.

ALDI 1551 34th Street North
Rating: 4.5
Number of reviews: 1,695
What people are saying: Lots of people say this store is always busy! This store has both self checkout and traditional registers which seems to please a lot of people. We don't get why people hate self-check out lanes because it usually goes by quicker. We just wish they would put a cap on how many items you can check out with in these lanes (20 or less would be ideal.)

ALDI 8521 W. Hillsborough Ave
Rating: 4.5
Number of reviews: 1,552
What people are saying: This store has mostly 4&5 stars with very few 1 and 2 star reviews. A few people complained about how some of the employee's were checking items out too quickly/not placing items neatly back in the carts... But take that with a grain of salt.

ALDI 10419 Sheldon Rd
Rating: 4.5
Number of reviews: 1,028
What people are saying: Great place to save money. A lot of people like this location because it's right next to a Costco. So you can pick up all your bulk grocery items, and get your remaining produce or snacks at Aldi.

ALDI 3705 Tampa Road
Rating: 4.5
Number of reviews: 934
What people are saying: Majority are positive reviews but you could tell it was one person's first time at an Aldi because they complained about needing a quarter for a cart, buying (or bring your own) grocery bags, and the self check out.. Can't please everyone.

ALDI 2150 Gulf To Bay Boulevard
Rating: 4.5
Number of reviews: 304
What people are saying: Some people have had poor interactions with some cashiers, but we try not to focus on those reviews as you never know what's someone else is going through. Everyone says this store is always clean and stocked!

ALDI 24756 US 19 North
Rating: 4.4
Number of reviews: 2,193
What people are saying: Lots of reviews calling out specific team members for their great customer service!

ALDI 1177 N. Missouri Ave
Rating: 4.4
Number of reviews: 1,449
What people are saying: Like every location, a lot of positive reviews on the prices and options. But a few did complain about there being 1 or no cashiers (self check out only).

ALDI 13514 University Plaza
Rating: 4.4
Number of reviews: 1,373

ALDI 18002 Highwoods Preserve Pkwy
Rating: 4.4
Number of reviews: 253
What people are saying: Like every Aldi store, everyone boasts about the amazing prices. Reviewers also mentioned this newer store is constantly clean and well stocked. The only "valid" complaint we noticed was someone mentioned they had restocking "floats" all around the store which was blocking some isles.

ALDI 2900 34th Street South
Rating: 4.3
Number of reviews: 1,092
What people are saying: This store was recently remolded and is even nicer than the other 34th st location! However some people find it more empty and aren't a fan of the new layout.
ALDI 6765 22nd Ave N
Rating: 4.2
Number of reviews: 18
What people are saying: This store has only been open for a few months so it doesn't have many reviews. Most are positive and mention the great prices and selections here!
