Traveling to the most beautiful places on earth for your job would be a dream come true--and that's what Lily Rain gets to do to make a buck. The problem? Lily Rain isn't a real person. She's an AI Virtual Travel Model.

She's just one of many AI models who are bringing in some serious cash. Could this end up being a problem for those of us humans who want to get into the career? Let's dive in.

According to Oddity Central, Lily Rain is a popular AI-created digital model that brings in roughly $20,000 a month for her creators on platforms like Fanvue. She simply appears in these travel photos and is shown having a good time in beautiful scenes. Well, beautiful made-up scenes. All of the photos are AI-generated, meaning they aren't real photos at all.

Lily Rain is designed to get our attention. She appears to be an attractive female, in some pictures she's on a ski mountain showing off some skin. She has the girl next door look with some freckles on her face and hair in braids. Most men would find her attractive--and that's the point.

According to Oddity Central, her creator told The Daily Star, "She can create idyllic, picturesque photos without the long journey times and added travel costs--and leverage different seasons to engage her audience. Using the seasons and trendy trips to tailor content and monetize it is big business. Lily can appear like a Kardashian enjoying her yearly ski trip in the best mountain resorts money can buy."

One of the good things about Lily Rain is that these resorts don't have to pay for some TikTok haircut to come stay at their resort. They can be annoying and come with some serious ego--and bad haircuts. However, with Lily you don't have to deal with any ego.

Contrarily, people like me would love that job! People have gone to school and taken Journalism classes to become a travel blogger. Now, all of our hard work is down the drain because we can't keep up or do it as inexpensive as a fake AI-created model can. She took our jobs!

Lily Rain isn't the only AI model bringing in some very real cash. Lexi Love earns $30k a month by acting as a romantic interest for lonely people, per Oddity Central. Likewise, fitness model Aitana Lopez has more than 300,000 followers on Instagram and she's not a real person. Additionally, Emilly Pelegrini was dubbed the world's hottest model and, again, not a real person.
