Two men were arrested after a Tampa strip club shooting happened early Monday morning. According to WFLA , deputies were called to Secrets Gentlemen's Club when an incident left one injured and two arrested. Apparently, an argument happened inside the establishment spilled outside in the parking lot. Plus, the entire scuffle was caught on camera and on video you can see a male pull out his gun and start shooting. You can see the video below!
Tampa Strip Club Shooting Leaves 1 Injured, 2 Arrested:
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office announced that just before 2 a.m., there was a shooting at the Secrets Gentlemen's Club on West Hillsborough Avenue. Deputies said when they arrived they heard multiple gunshots coming from the club. That's when they saw a white SUV driving erratically from the scene. Police then found Joar Michel, 39, lying on the ground after he was shot in the shoulder. Officers tied to initiate a traffic stop on the SUV, but the driver refused. The owner of the vehicle is Kenneth Jackson, 34, and instead of pulling over he allegedly kept driving. He was on the run and refused to be captured by police.
Police kept pursuing the SUV for several minutes until Jackson approached a stop sign. That's when deputies were able to box him in before he tried to flee on foot. Luckily, the Tampa Police Department arrested him but he wasn't the only one. Deputies also arrested Jafet Rodriguez, 39, who allegedly fired the gun. Sheriff Chad Chronister said, "The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office will not stand for any form of violence in our community. These two individuals will be held accountable for their reckless and violent actions." Sadly, this is just another shooting that's happened in Tampa Bay. This isn't the first strip club shooting in the area and unfortunately, it might not be the last.
