Those pictures you might have seen of Taylor Swift online are NOT real! Had to address that off the top. Taylor Swift is now considering legal action over deep fakes online.
There have been X-rated, AI-generated pictures of her circulating social media lately. Now, the singer has had enough.
Taylor Swift Considering Legal Action Over Nude Deep Fakes
A source told Daily Mail, “Whether or not legal action will be taken is being decided, but there is one thing that is clear: These fake, AI-generated images are abusive, offensive, exploitative and done without Taylor’s consent and/or knowledge.”
Many people are left wondering how these photos were even able to be circulated in the beginning. Shouldn’t social media sites be smart enough by now to prevent stuff like that from being shared? Seems like there should be. If not, there definitely will be soon after this lawsuit, I feel like. If you didn’t know, Taylor Swift has some power and she can get stuff done. I’m expecting big changes after this.
Taylor is yet to publicly comment on the matter. However, her loyal fans have been all over this. The photos in discussion show her in a variety of provocative and offensive poses at a Kansas City Chiefs game. Her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, plays for the team and Taylor has been shown on camera at several games over the season. In fact, her attendance at these games was probably the biggest sports story in the NFL season, somehow. It was everywhere.
Regardless of your opinion on Taylor or her music, nobody deserves to have this happen to them. Hopefully, they get to the bottom of this and all is corrected soon. I can’t imagine having this happen or having to go through this.
Deep Fakes have been growing in popularity with the rise of AI. They are able to make it look like it’s you in photos and even videos with audio. Technology is scary. More information on the story is available via Page Six.

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
