Was a Senate staffer caught making gay porn in the Senate building? Video obtained by the Daily Caller appears to show just that. As a congressional staffer engaging in sexual intercourse with another man inside the Senate hearing room.

According to Daily Caller, there's also a photo that allegedly shows the staffer nude on all fours looking back at the camera. It looks like the camera is situated on the table where Senators often sit during hearings.

Senate Staffer Allegedly Caught Making Gay Porn

The Daily Caller reports the room is "Senate room Hart 216 - The Judiciary Room." The Daily Caller says they have not confirmed the identities of either man in question.

According to The Daily Caller, the video was leaked in a chat and have confirmed it was shared in a "private group for gay men in politics."

Things at the Senate building continue to get weirder and weirder. It seems like there's a new story coming out of that building every week. Very rarely does it have anything to do with new legislation.

Josh Holmes on Twitter quote tweeted the video and said, "What have they done to my beloved senate."

The video began making the rounds on Friday, December 15th. Out.com reports the staffer was allegedly fired by Saturday, December 16th.

The Advocate, a sister-company of Out, confirmed the U.S. Capitol Police were investigating the video.

According to Out.com, Maryland Democratic Senator Ben Cardin's office released a statement providing an update on the alleged staffer who appeared in the video. Per Politico, that statement read, "Aidan Maese-Czeropski is no longer employed by the U.S. Senate. We will have no further comment on this personnel matter."

Out.com points out that Maese-Czeropski's LinkedIn stated he worked for 80-year old Senator Ben Cardin since 2021.

According to Out.com, Maese-Czeropski wrote on LinkedIn, "This has been a difficult time for me, as I have been attacked for who I love to pursue a political agenda. While some of my actions in the past have shown poor judgment, I love my job and would never disprespect my workplace. Any attempts to characterize my actions otherwise are fabricated and I will be exploring what legal options are available to me in these matters."

U.S. Senate Unanimously Votes to Make Daylight Saving Time Permanent, Twitter Reacts

The United States Senate, in a unanimous voice vote today (March 15), passed a bill that would make Daylight Saving Time permanent.

Per multiple outlets, including Reuters and NBC News, the Sunshine Protection Act stated the change wouldn't begin until 2023 if it's passed by the House of Representatives and signed into law by President Joe Biden. The bill will head to the House, but it's not yet known when a vote on the bill will take place. Reuters, however, did note, "The House Energy and Commerce Committee held a hearing on the issue this month."

NBC News also noted, "Daylight Saving Time started in the U.S. in 1918 as a way to create more daylight hours during warmer months. It was extended by four weeks starting in 2007. States are not required to follow daylight saving time — Hawaii and most of Arizona do not observe it."

Making Daylight Saving Time permanent has been a long-debated topic with those in favor citing a number of impacts from how it affects sleeping patterns of children and pets to the slight increase of heart attacks and strokes following the time change.

Once news of the vote began to circulate, "Sunshine Protection Act" became the number one trending topic on Twitter. Here are some notable reactions to the news.

Something new from the Senate every week it seems like!

Cort Freeman was born and raised in Metro Detroit. He was named Clarkston High School 2009 Class Clown 13 years after graduating. Totally normal thing to happen. That’s thanks to his time spent as an Intern at Comedy Central and Social Media Correspondent for The Colbert Report. Cort has done comedy across the country, both standing up and sitting down. When he’s not trying to make you laugh on-air and online, he’s probably at home enjoying his favorite shows like Seinfeld, South Park, and The Office. He’s also totally uncomfortable writing about himself in the third person. Cort enjoys writing about comedy, food, sports, and entertainment. So, basically anything and everything.
