PornHub Releases Annual Year In Review Insights For 2023

It's finally here! The climax of the year. PornHub has released its annual year in review insights for 2023.

Forget what artists you listened to and all of that data, these are the stats that matter. Apparently, it looks like it was a very interesting year on the internet.

Well, it was a busy year. According to the annual report from PornHub, the average "self-love session" lasted 9 minutes and 51 seconds in 2023. This year, 93% of porn watched in the United States was viewed on mobile phones, according to PornHub.

Now, more women are watching porn, according to the results from PornHub. The report said 36% of viewers were women in 2023, which is up 12% from 2015. That's statistically signficiant.

It looks like "older" porn was a big deal in 2023. PornHub says searches for the word "mature" were up 77% compared to last year. "Granny" was up 132%, "GILF" up 168%, and 71% more searches for "DILF" in 2023, according to PornHub.

Apparently, size does matter. PornHub points out that searches including the words "big," "bigger," and "biggest" were up 177%. Don't panic! Yes, motion of the ocean still matters, too!

PornHub reports the most popular time to watch porn was 11pm on Monday. Saturdays were the least popular day for viewing material, according to PornHub.

The site says the three most searched for pornstars this year were: Abella Danger, Angela White, and Eva Elfie. Unfamiliar? No, you aren't.

The most viewed category in 2023 was Lesbian, per the report. That makes two years in a row for the category. The runner-up for most viewed category was Japanese, per PornHub.

An interesting finding in the PornHub report was that the most viewed category in Russia was Russian porn. Seems interesting. Are they actually searching "Russian Porn?" Seems like an unnecessary inclusion when you're in that country. Do you search for "American Porn" here in the states? Seems like that'd be strange to search.

"They send me scripts that are just like that. It’s the ones I have to fight for that usually are the ones that I want that are different. Like Reality."

In 2023, Sweeney starred as Reality Winner in the thriller drama Reality, and she received critical acclaim for her performance.
