Good Karen’s Get Rewarded With Free Burgers At St. Pete Restaurant

This might be one of the few instances where someone is happy to be named Karen! A St. Pete restaurant is is playing on the pop culture misfortune of the name “Karen”. They want to show that not all Karen’s are bad and give back to the good Karen’s of Tampa Bay. Boulevard Burgers & Tap House is handing out free burgers to anyone named Karen for the rest of September starting TODAY, September 15! There’s no other catch, all spellings are accepted as long as you bring in a valid ID.

They won’t just give you a plain old burger. The St. Pete burger joint is giving you the option to choose between a handful of burgers on their menu. And trust us, they all look delicious. But why settle for a classic burger when you could get The Godfather. This burger has melted provolone, sautéed mushrooms, marinara and ricotta cheese. They’re also offering the Haystack, Black and Bleu, Cali, Big BBQ, and the Mac & Cheese. You can check out their full menu here.

There’s a lot more going on at Boulevard Burgers & Tap House than free burgers for Karen’s. You can go there 7 days a week with happy hour available every day. They have specials Monday-Wednesday and have live music on the weekends. This place is even pet friendly so bring your pup on Saturday afternoon for Yappy Hour! Tampa Bay Spots Recommended To Be On Diners, Drive-Ins And Dives

Last year we told you about the best Florida spots Guy Fieri visited for Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. Now we were wondering what new spots should the Mayor of Flavortown visit on his next trip to Florida for Triple D? We asked our listeners on social media what they thought and these were the most popular responses.

Whether you love to cook or not, it’s entertaining to see all of the local places get a national spotlight. So far, 81 Florida restaurants have been featured on Guy Fieri’s show and 15 of them are in the Tampa Bay area or a quick drive to Orlando. Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives has been a staple Food Network show since 2007. 37 seasons and over 450 episodes later, it’s one of the most popular Food Network shows out there and still making new episodes! Florida recently got a shoutout on the show on the newest season in March 2023. Guy’s most recent trip to the Sunshine State was back in December of 2022. We didn’t know it at the time but he visited Big Lee’s BBQ in Ocala for what we thought was a normal day. Turns out he was filming for Triple D!

Not only does Guy feature a handful of Florida restaurants on Triple D. He also included a few Florida chefs on his game show Guy’s Grocery Games. The chef and owner of one of our favorite food trucks made it on the competition TWICE. He’s also featured chefs from Miami and Spring Hill!
