Drive Tanks And Smash Cars At New Florida Theme Park

Here’s a Florida theme park that you don’t hear about every day. We know all about Disney, Busch Gardens, Legoland, and SeaWorld. But have you heard of Tank America? It’s is in Orlando which is not far from Tampa. At Tank America they let you drive tanks and smash cars. Weirdly enough this has been something that is on my bucket list. And yes it actual tanks that you drive and run over stuff.

Tank America is super close to universal! According to one of their partners John Kinney, “If you’re looking for a thrilling experience outside of the theme parks, it doesn’t get more thrilling than Tank America.”

Come feel 17 tons of awesome power as you navigate through our ½ mile tank course from the driver’s seat of our FV 433 tanks. The 7 Best Late Night Bites In Tampa

With endless options to bar hop in Tampa, it’s good to know a list of places that are serving late night bites. There are plenty of spots downtown that still serve food till midnight or later! So when you’re not ready to take the party home, or Taco Bell doesn’t sound like the move, consider trying one of these late night restaurants!

You won’t find any big food chains in this list. We try to keep it local and only feature the best kept secrets in Tampa. We took the most popular suggestions from Yelp and added our favorites to the list. Whether it’s pizza, burgers, or ice cream, we have all the recommendations for you!

An honorary mention that didn’t make our list is Bar Taco in Hyde Park. Their kitchen hours on their website list 11am-“late”. This means that if it’s a slow night, they could shut down the kitchen at 11p. But since this is such a popular restaurant with a great location, it hardly ever closes early. Plus, what’s a better midnight snack than tacos?

  • Riveters

    Riveters is one of our favorite Tampa restaurants. It’s a great place to go pregame before any Buccaneers game or concert at Raymond James Stadium. They’re located right next to the 2001 Odyssey club, so they’ll stay open until 3a.

  • Three Coins Diner

    Three Coins Diner has been a staple food joint in Tampa for decades. They are open 24 hours so you can always count on them for a hot, late night meal.

  • Hattricks

    Hattricks is open every day until 3a. They are THE spot to go to for any sports watch party (especially the Lightning). The food here is amazing, we recommend trying their wings “Lightning Style”.

  • Insomnia Cookies

    If you haven’t tried Insomnia Cookies yet, you’re missing out. They are located in SoHo next to MacDinton’s. Their website says they are open till midnight Sunday-Wednesday and 1a Thursday-Saturday.

  • Due Amici

    Okay, is there really a better late night snack option than pizza? Due Amici is located in Ybor and is open till 3a every day.

    The Bricks is located in Ybor and has some of the best specials in Tampa. They are open until 1a on Friday’s and Saturday’s.

    GenX Tavern has become one of the trendiest bars in Tampa. We love watching Lightning games here because of the great service, atmosphere and delicious food and drinks!! Open till 1a on the weekends!
