Seems like we can’t go a week without hearing something about Antonio Brown and why let this week go to waste. An arrest warrant has been issued for Antonio Brown. That’s right the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver is in some hot water. The Tampa Police Department are looking for Antonio Brown for charges concerning Battery that happened over the last few days. A judge has denied a petition for a temporary risk protection order to prevent him from obtaining firearms or ammunition if he considered harming himself or others.
TMZ reports the incident involved a domestic dispute between Antonio Brown and the mother of his children. FOX 13 has gotten correspondence that Tampa Police officers showed up to Browns house Monday stating there was an altercation with a woman. According to officers Brown “threw a shoe at the woman hitting her in the ponytail” after which Brown entered his home and would not come out to speak. Reports indicate that Antonio Brown threw the woman’s belongings into the street in an attempt to “informally evict her.”
This isn’t the only time Brown has had a run in with the law. Last month he had to pay $1.2 million to a moving truck driver after he was arrested for assaulting the driver. Brown pleaded no contest. He received two years’ probation, which was terminated one year early for good behavior. [Source ESPN, TMZ]
