But now, things will be heading back to normal very quickly. The gas tax holiday was scheduled for October 1st through November 1st. That means if you need gas, make time to fill-up today. You’ll almost certainly save several dollars. As of today, Halloween 2022, the average price of a gallon gas in Tampa is $3.26. Expect prices to rise by about 25 to 25 cents per gallon overnight.
