Weekday Afternoons 3pm - 7pm

Ozzy Osbourne says he needs to get back on the road.

The Prince of Darkness has been sidelined with health issues in recent years, including surgeries to treat a staph infection in 2018, the reveal of his Parkinson’s disease diagnosis in 2019, a pneumonia battle and a fall at home in 2020 as well as a major neck surgery in June and a positive COVID-19 diagnosis.

In a new interview, Ozzy says his main goal is to tour again explaining, “That’s what I’m heading for. I’m hoping I will feel well enough to tour. As soon as I’m finished with [doing] promotion [for my new album], I’m dying to get some physical exercise in and go all out to get myself back on my feet.”  Ozzy’s people just released a video of his performance from last Thursday nights NFL game in Los Angeles that NBC decided to cut.

He went on to say, “It’s different. It’s awkward right now. If I haven’t got the confidence up, I’ll lose my balance. So I’ve gotta get my confidence up. I’ve overcome drug addiction and alcohol addiction and tobacco. I’m sure I can give it a good effort. I need it; I need to get back on that stage.”

Ozzy first scrapped his 2019 date at the Mid Florida Credit Union Amphitheater, then cancelled his rescheduled date for May 31, 2020.  If the Prince of darkness does announce a new tour, I’m sure Tampa will be on the list.
