Florida Teacher Accused Of Giving Student Alcohol, Twerking
Turns out, proms are turned up in Florida these days. Today’s infamous incident occurred at a Christian school here in our very own freaky Sunshine State. Julie Hoover is the teacher who stands accused of the inappropriate behavior. She is also facing charges from a previous incident, where she allegedly “sexted” a student. She now faces even more charges.
This time, it’s an additional count of lewd and lascivious behavior following a report that she encouraged a student to drink alcohol and began to twerk against him as they danced together at the prom. Investigators say students observed the suspect holding a straw to the student’s mouth and encouraging him to drink an alcoholic beverage. Then, on several occasions throughout the night, witnesses say the teacher approached the student and twerked on him, grinding her buttocks against his leg suggestively. Several students went as fas aso to jump in between the teacher and student to keep them from continuing. The allegations came to light after the prom for Point of Grace Christian School.
Hoover was accused and arrested for texting with a student earlier this year. Investigators say the woman is accused of “sexting” with a student after a parent discovered sexually explicit texts between the teacher and her son. The woman is no longer employed by the school and she is awaiting trial. Neither the school nor the local police department have made any additional statements about the case.
